Review by professional advisors

J_____, our legacy planner, has been stressing, from the very beginning of our relationship, the need for the professionals on our team — our attorney, our CPA, our investment advisor, and J___ himself — to be on the same page when they speak with Sarita and me.

“You want to include all planning team members in the process from the beginning,” he said. “We need to be able to communicate openly one with another without worrying about being embarrassed or having our egos bruised by having you [John, client] hear any of our questions or comments.”

In order to ensure that end, then, he told us that he would meet with all our advisors prior to telling us anything about the details of the plan he is putting together.

Well, the advisors’ final, pre-presentation meeting was scheduled for this morning. And J_____ just wrote me:

John,

Our meeting this morning with L____ [CPA] and B____ [attorney] went as we expected. They had a couple of good thoughts and comments that we discussed and I added a couple of sentences to the Master Stewardship Plan text to reflect those comments. They are both fully supportive of the proposed plan.

We are sending the draft Master Stewardship Plan to S____ [investment advisor] today and hope to talk with him later this week to get his thoughts and comments. Once that is done, we will finalize everything and will be ready to present the proposed Master Stewardship Plan to you and Sarita.

I emailed you earlier about April 7th or 9th as possible dates for us to present the plan to you. Please let us know ASAP if either of those dates will work for the two of you.

I’m pumped!
